POLICE SHOOTINGS
Mr. Scott served 25+ years with the Massachusetts State Police before retiring as a Command Officer and having conducted shooting investigations involving police officers throughout the state.
Since 1998 he has been involved in hundreds of officer involved shooting investigations nationally and internationally.
During the 49 years in which he has conducted shooting investigations it is estimated that he has been directly involved in over 450 police involved shootings.
He was a member of the Massachusetts State Police Firearms Review Board which conducted oversight and review of the use of firearms by police officers for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and was the Commanding Officer of the Ballistics Section which was responsible for the forensic aspects of deadly force shootings.
